Rain Water Harvesting System
The rain water is the pure water and we are getting in free of cost during the rainy season, We should utilize the rain water for drinking and other purposes.
There are two methods are followed in rainwater harvesting direct and indirect rain water harvesting system.
Direct Rain water harvesting system
We harvest the rainbwater catchment area and filter it through natural filters media like carbon, Sand and pebbles and then given to water sump for drinking and other use.
Indirect rainwater harvesting system
The excess of rainwater from the sump and the surrounding floor area water is given to the percolation pit for groundwater/Bore well recharge.
Merits of Rainwater harvesting system
● Thereby we can prevent the water droughts during summer season.
● Floods at the time of monsoon.
● Eliminate getting water from lorries and water cane.
● Save our budget for spending drinking water and other purpose.
